Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar

  • Arrive in Srinagar.

Day 2: Srinagar to Tosamaidan Base Camp

  • After breakfast, drive to Tosamaidan base camp (approx. 4-5 hours).
  • Begin acclimatization and light trekking.
  • Set up tents and rest.
  • Dinner and overnight camping at Tosamaidan base camp.

Day 3: Trek from Tosamaidan Base Camp to Kounsernag Lake

  • After breakfast, start the trek to Kounsernag Lake (approx. 5-6 hours).
  • Enjoy scenic views of meadows and valleys along the way.
  • Reach Kounsernag Lake and set up camp nearby.
  • Dinner and overnight camping at Kounsernag Lake.

Day 4: Trek from Kounsernag Lake to Tosamaidan Meadows

  • After breakfast, continue trekking towards Tosamaidan Meadows (approx. 6-7 hours).
  • Experience alpine meadows and mountain views.
  • Set up camp at Tosamaidan Meadows.
  • Dinner and overnight camping at Tosamaidan Meadows.

Day 5: Rest Day at Tosamaidan Meadows

Day 6: Trek back to Tosamaidan Base Camp

Day 7: Return to Srinagar
